This Thursday from 6-9pm at Boys and Girls High School, New York State is holding a hearing for Brooklyn community members to give testimony on the impact of Mayoral Control of NYC public schools.
A few teachers from MS 839 will be attending to give testimony, and we would welcome parent testimony from our community as well. While sign-ups are closed, there will be a waitlist. If you would like to attend with us, please reach out to Frank Marino (8th grade history teacher) and we can sit together at the hearing! (Frank.marino@ms839.org).

| Please sign up to testify. Only 60 people can testify at each hearing. However, even if the online speaker registration fills up, please attend and sign up to speak at the hearing.
